Abstract:

At this time, the suction box 6 has a recessed groove 62 formed in its surface, and the sheet is also shaped in conformity with this recessed groove 62. The raw material is supplied In the sheet 2 and comes into the recessed groove 62 while a projection is formed to fit in the recessed groove 62 by the raw material supplying port 35a of a forming plate 35. in this way, the raw material supplied on the sheet 2 is filled in the recessed groove 62 after excess moisture in the raw material is squeezed through the water suction holes of the suction box 6 and the raw material surface is pressed by means of rollers 33, 34 through the fore-and-aft movement of the raw material supplier 3, thus obtaining an uneven formed plate 8.
