To ensure the stable supply of a molding raw material even when the length of a pre-supply hopper is made larger and continuously manufacture a molded product of stable quality by forming a part right above a gap in the wall of the pre-supply hopper using a rotary roll of such a shape s extending along one of the faces of the molded product.
A molding raw material 8 is preliminarily supplied, in the sectional shape of a gap, to the surface of a water-permeable sheet (TS) 2 immediately before a vacuum dehydration region V using a pre-supply hopper 92 and thus is always kept in a constant supply state in the vacuum dehydration region V, so that the internal pressure of a vacuum box 5 is stably kept at a reduced pressure level. The molding raw material 8 packed in the hopper 9a is previously stirred by a stirring blade 94 in the pre-supply hopper 9a and is carried to the wall side of the rear part of the hopper 9a following the movement of the TS 2. The raw material 8 which is not used for pre-supply is again returned to the wall side of the forward part to eliminate accumulation of the residual molding raw material 8 on the wall side of the rear part. Thus it is possible to ensure the stable pre-supply of the raw material 8 and continuously manufacture a molded product of a plain shape and even molded product of an uneven profile such as corrugated.
