PURPOSE: To achieve transfer with uniform density without the occurrence of flaws, stay of a molten material, and lowering of sensitivity even in the case where a cushion layer is put under an image receiving layer or image forming layer by separating the image forming layer formed on the supporter having a cross-linked mold release surface at its interface, and producing a separating surface as an image forming surface.
CONSTITUTION: A receiving layer and intermediate layer 3 are laminated on the tentative support 4 in this order, and a cushion layer 2 is formed on the support, and then an intermediate layer formed by laminating the receiving layer and intermediate layer on the tentative support 4 in this order and a cushion layer with the cushion layer 3 formed on the support are adhered face to face, and the tentative support 4 is separated at an interface delimited with the receiving layer. Herein, the intermediate layer 3 is the layer provided between the cushion layer 2 and the receiving layer or the image forming layer 5 provided on the support. Concretely, it is provided during the period of the layer forming process, and such intermediate layer can be made by a separation layer, adhesive layer or the like in the receiving layer and also by a light and heat conversion layer, a separation layer, an adhesive layer and the like in the recording layer.
