Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method for an impact tool formed by implanting a cutter body of hard metal in a base of steel, whereby. a long life tool is provided in which a soft metal as packing material is in good fashion interposed between the cutter body and the hole bottom so that no dislocation is generated.
CONSTITUTION: A hole 3 for implanting of a cutter body 5 is formed in a base 2 of steel, and a soft metal 6 is fixed to the bottom of the cutter body 5, which is pressure fitted or hot press fitted in the hole 3 in the base 2 and is secured.
