Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the balance of rotation of an impeller so as to reduce the noise, by molding an impeller having hollow streamlined vanes by blow molding.
CONSTITUTION: Vane sections 2 and a boss section 4 are formed in one body by blow molding such that each vane section 4 is hollow. As the vane sections 2 are hollow, the weight of an impeller is decreased, and therefore the faults of prior art, that is, the increase of a torque of a motor and the increase of a stress at the root part of each vane section 2 can be obviated.
