PURPOSE: To manufacture the aluminum foil of small elongation and high durability, by giving a tension to the soft aluminum foil using the nipping roll for giving 2W 10% stretch.
CONSTITUTION: The aluminum foil A is uncoiled from the uncoiling roll 3, and is given a tension by two nipping rolls 1, 2, interposing the drum 5 between them, and the foil A is stretched by 2W10%. Hereupon, the peripheral speed of the second nipping rol 2 is settled at higher speed than the peripheral speed of the first nipping roll 1, on purpose to give a tension to the aluminum foil A. The aluminum foil A is stretched, and is endowed with the small elongation of 5W7.5%, the excellent durability of 5.5W8.5kg/mm2, and the excellent printing accuracy; hereby, the aluminum foil suitable for the capping material for the container of the yogurt, etc., can be manufactured.
