PURPOSE: To obtain an in-mold decorating sheet, on which pattern is clearly printed, by a method wherein pattern, which is printed in advance on a film, is transferred to a synthetic resin sheet suitable for forming.

CONSTITUTION: A transfer sheet is produced by printing a releasant layer 5 and an adhesive layer 6 together with a pattern layer 2 on a film base material 1, which is easily printable and the dimensional stability of which at printing is high. The pattern layer of said transfer sheet is transferred to an easily formable synthetic resin sheet 3 and, after the base material film 1 is peeled off, an easily formable sheet 4 is laminated onto the pattern layer.
