PURPOSE: To improve the printing quality and to reduce manufacturing costs by decreasing the irregularity of the discharging characteristic of nozzles as low as negligible.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of units of pressurizing chambers 1a and communicating passages 1b are formed at the lower surface of a passage substrate 1 to concentrate at one ends thereof on the central part of the lower surface. A vibrating plate 2 is securely fixed by an adhesive or the like to the lower surface of the passage substrate 1. An ink feed pipe 2a is integrally formed at the central part of the lower surface of the vibrating plate 2. The ink feed pipe 2a is of the size including a side end of the central part of the communicating passage 1b. A piezoelectric element 3 is bonded to the lower surface of the vibrating plate 2 to face each pressurizing chamber 1a. A driving signal may be supplied to the piezoelectric element 3 from outside. Thereafter, laser light is cast (shown by an arrow 4) to the substrate 1 and vibrating plate 2 in the bonded state from above and below the central part of the substrate 1 in the thicknesswise direction. As a result, a plurality of units of nozzles 1c and ink feed holes 2b are coaxially and simultaneously or alternately formed.
