Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method for an insulating ceramic insertion which is used as an airtight passage of an electric conductor penetrating through a metallic wall.
CONSTITUTION: This method comprises performing the silk screen printing onto a semi-processed ceramic strip with the electrically conductive ink according to a pattern which is ordinary circular, pressing the printed pattern, and forming the holes on the center of the circle, and at least another semi-processed strip. Then the silk screen printed strip is brought into contact with at least the other semi-processed strip, or is inserted between two other semi-processed strips, these strips are joined in a state that the holes are fitted to each other, then pressed, and cut in the center of each hole, an outside face 5 of the obtained cut piece is coated with a metal 9, and is heat-treated for baking and sintering. The sintering can be optionally performed before the metal coating of the outside face 5.
