PURPOSE: To manufacture easily and swiftly a joint for a fibrous cylindrical structural material, by a method wherein a reinforcement fiber layer is formed by covering a gas-enclosed baggy molding frame of a fiber-reinforced synthetic resin molding with a reinforcement fiber, with which uncured synthetic resin is impregnated and mold release is performed by venting the gas enclosed within the molding frame after curing.
CONSTITUTION: A continuous material 11 of a baggy molding frame is composed of by communicating unitarily a plurality of air-enclosed baggy molding unit frames 10 made of rubber for molding a cylindrical fiber-reinforced synthetic resin molding 3 with one another, which is swollen out at the central part 1 and tapering toward each of both end openings 2. A reinforcement fiber 12 such as an aromatic fiber is braided into a state of a hollow braiding on the outside circumference of the continuous material 11. Mold release is performed by a method wherein a reinforcement fiber layer 13 is formed on the outside circumference of the continuous material 11 of the baggy molding frame, with which synthetic resin 14 such as uncured epoxy resin is impregnated and the continuous material 11 of the frame is made into a state where it is crushed by venting the air enclosed in the continuous material 11 of the baggy molding frame after curing. An obtained continuous material 15 of the fiber- reinforced synthetic resin moldings 3 is cut off at each unit of the moldings 3 and the cylindrical fiber-reinforced synthetic resin molding 3 is obtained.
