PURPOSE: To easily, quickly manufacture the kenter shackle, by utilizing the cutter, heater, bender, and shape reformer, of the chain forming machine, for bending the material of chain and reforming the shape.

CONSTITUTION: The steel bar 1 of the same material as the chain is cut by the cutter A of the chain forming machine into the specified length, and is heated by the electric heater B. The rod is bent by the bender C into a ring type body 2, and its shape is reformed by the shape reformer F; then, both ends are cut to form the engaging convex and concave 3; hereby, the kenter shackle is manufactured. Both ends of this kenter shackle are connected rigidly by the joint metal 4 provided with the concave hole 5 for inserting the engaging convex and concave 3 of the kenter shackle at both ends of inner side. Because the ring type body is formed from the steel bar of the same material as material of the chain, and its both ends are cut to form the engaging convex and concave 3, the kenter shackle with stable material property can be easily mass produced.
