At this time, the width of the intermediate part of the extending part of the knuckle forming body 9 is made narrower than the width of car shaft holding part 2, and the knuckle 1 is manufactured by bending the intermediate part. In such a way, even if the excess part is extended to the side direction at the time of broken by bending, it is not protruded from the width of the car shaft holding part, so the design of the layout of knuckle neighborhood can be prevented from being adversely effected.
