PURPOSE: To improve dimensional stability, plate thickness precision, etc., of a laminate by applying resin varnish on one surface of woven fabric, by applying air pressure to the fabric from, the other surface and by immersing the woven fabric in the resin varnish thereafter.
CONSTITUTION: A woven fabric A is impregnated with varnish by a kiss roll 2 and the varnish dropping from a base material is received by a funnel and a tray 3. Herein nozzles 5 and 7 or hoods 6, 8 and 9 apply a pressure onto the woven fabric A from the upper side by air. Thereafter the woven fabric A is immersed in resin varnish in a tray 1. By this method, the resin varnish can be delayed in reaching the opposite surface of the woven fabric. Since bubbles in a prepreg can be vanished nearly at all and low flow molding can be effected at the time of molding, accordingly, a laminate for high-density printed wiring being excellent in dimensional stability, plate thickness precision and surface smoothness can be manufactured.
