CONSTITUTION: In the case of a method for manufacturing a lattice unit for a lead-acid battery of using a lead antimony system alloy, a process of obtaining melted lead, containing a predetermined amount of sulfur, by casting a sulfur or lead sulfur alloy melted in a hot water filling dipper 1 and a process of forming the lattice unit, containing a predetermined amount of sulfur, by filling a casting mold 5 with the above-mentioned melted lead in the hot filling dipper 1 are provided and performed successively in the above-mentioned order.
