Abstract:
PURPOSE: To wet a lug part of a plate by molten metal, and form a fillet at the root of the lug part by forming a eutectic part composed of two solid solutions different in the content of Ps and Sb by prescribed % or more in solidification structure of a strap.
CONSTITUTION: When a strap 2 of Pb-Sb alloy is formed in a plate ear part 1a of Pb-Sb alloy or Pb-Ca alloy by a cast-on method, a eutectic part composed of both solid solution containing a small quantity of Sb by using Pb as a base and solid solution containing a small quantity of Pb by using Sb as a base, is formed by 30% or more in solidification structure of the strao 2. In that case, the Sb content of Pb-Sb alloy to form the strap 2 is selected by a quantity of 11wt.% or less, and cooling speed of Pb-Sb alloy molten metal to form the strap 2 is controlled so that the eutectic part is formed. At this time, the Sb content of Pb-Sb and the cooling speed of the Pb-Sb alloy molten metal are determined so as to satisfy the Sb content ≥6.5-10g (cooling speed). The cooling speed is 1 to 100°C/sec.
