PURPOSE: To surely melt-bonding a joining part of a cover by accommodating a container in a iron frame which covers the outsides of the container and the joining part to correct outward expansion of the container, then melting the joining part.
CONSTITUTION: When a container 1 and a cover 2 are bonded, the container 1 in which an electrode group is accommodated is accommodated in iron frame 7. The inner dimension of the iron frame 7 is set to almost the same dimension as the outer dimension of the container 1. When the container 1 is accommodated in the iron frame 7 and an opening or shutting part 1 is closed, the wall 5, which is expanded to the outside, of the container 1 is forced to press inward and corrected to a normal state (a shape of inner dimension of the iron frame 7). A heating plate 3 is placed on the joining part 4, and a joining part 4' of a hanging part 6 of the cover 2 is in contact with the heating plate 3. Thereby, joining part 4 and 4' are melted.
