Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stick a TFT(thin film transistor) substrate and a color filter substrate (CF substrate) to each other without causing any lamination deflection between the laminated substrates.
SOLUTION: A lamination substrate 5 constructed of a TFT substrate 3 and a CF substrate 4 laminated to each other via a thermohardening sealant is held by means of a holding jig 6 so as to be conveyed between a heating pressing jigs 1, 2. The heating pressing jigs 1, 2, in each of which a silicon rubber heater 1c and an O-ring 1d forming a sealed space with the holding jig 6 are provided on the inner surface, are moved laterally by means of air cylinders 8, 8. When the lamination substrate 5 is conveyed to the position shown in the figure, the air cylinders 8, 8 are actuated, and the lamination substrate 5 is pressed and clamped by means of the heating pressurizing jigs 1, 2. Under this condition, a temperature of the heater 1c is increased so that the thermohardening sealant is hardened, and the substrates 3, 4 are stuck together.
