PURPOSE: To mass-produce easily a lock bush by a series of flow process, by providing plural projecting lines in parallel on one face of a band-like material, cutting the band-like material which forms knurling on the other face, and bend- forming it in a state that the projecting line is shifted by one pitch.

CONSTITUTION: Plural projecting lines 2 are provided in parallel along the lengthwise direction on the surface of a band-like material 1, and knurling 3 is notched on the reverse side. This bandlike material 1 is cut to suitable size, and is bent in the shape of a cylinder in a state that the projecting line 2 side is set as an inside face and the projecting line 2 is shifted by one pitch. A formed lock bush 4 makes its cut faces contact with each other, or is made a shape having a slit 5 by leaving a gap between the cut faces. According to this method, the work is speeded up, and the cost of a product is reduced.
