PURPOSE: To eliminate that the deteriorated part, of a core blank, due to the chemical reaction of the core blank with a glass has an adverse effect on a gap characteristic when two core blanks are integrated by a bonding glass.
CONSTITUTION: A bonding glass 30 which has been melted is poured, in a direction advancing to the inner part of a gap from the outer side of the gap, into the gap of a part where a protruding stripe part 16 for gap formation is bonded to a flat-plate core blank 20, and core balnks 10, 20 are bonded integrally. Regarding the bonded core blanks 10, 20, the part, on the entrance side, into which the bonding glass 30 has been poured is cut off up to the halfway part (the position of Y) of the protruding stripe part 16 for gap formation.
