Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable fine magnetic oxide powder having high surface activity and easy sintering property to be manufactured at low cost.
CONSTITUTION: In order to manufacture the magnetic oxide represented by a general formula: MFe2O4 (where M represents at least one of dihydroric metallic elements selected from the groups comprising Ni, Zn, Mn and Co), alkali is added to the mixed solution of the dihydroric metallic element and ferrous aqueous compound under the coexistence of hydrogen peroxide in PH value exceeding 9 to produce a compound hydroxide so that the produced slurry containing this hydroxide may be water-heat-treated meeting the requirements at 130-250°C and saturated pressure.
