Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately, simply provide a phosphor layer by applying three kinds of phosphor pastes containing phosphor powder illuminating in red, green, and blue to a glass substrate, and removing the phosphor existing in the position other than the specified applying position by sticking to a sticky body.
SOLUTION: Phosphor pastes of red (R), blue (B), and green (G) are partially applied to a glass substrate on which an electrode and a partition are formed in a stripe shape to form a red phosphor layer 4, a blue phosphor layer 5, and a green phosphor layer 6. In the substrate for applying the phosphor paste between the partitions, the phosphor paste is often attached to the position other than the specified applying position. The places the paste is attached are mainly the upper end part of the partition, and the phosphor existing in the position other than the specified applying position is removed by sticking to a sticking body. The removing process applied before or after baking the phosphor paste is effective.
