In this manufacturing method of a metal fitting for hose, a cylindrical socket 1 and a cylindrical nipple 2 positioning at the inner side of the socket 1 are provided at one end side, and a screw part 3 a joint member is screwed in, a communication hole 5 to communicate the hollow part 2a of the nipple 2 to the screw part 3, and a cut head form seal part 6 formed at the opening edge of the communication hole 5, are provided at the other end side. The socket part 1, the nipple 2, the screw part 3, and the seal part 6, and manufactured by a plastic working, while the top part 6a of the above seal part 6 is removed by a cutting process. At the top part 6a of the seal part 6, a minute groove extending in the peripheral direction is to be formed.
