PURPOSE: To easily manufacture many kinds of metallic decorative panels, by forming a lot of projecting and recessed parts on a metallic panel by use of a numerical control (NC) machine tool, and also changing the projecting and recessing patterns suitably.
CONSTITUTION: A coordinate (numerical value) of each point is inputted to an NC machine tool so that collection of a press point forms a beautiful pattern. Subsequently, to the press part and the base part of the machine tool, a female metallic die 5 and a male punch 1 are installed, respectively. After that, a metallic panel P is placed on the base part, and the press part is made to descent. As a result, a receiving base 2 is pressed by the circumference of the metallic die 5 and is made to descend, therefore, the punch 1 protrudes, the tip of the punch 1 is engaged with the metallic die 5, and the panel P is pressed. When pressure of the press part is released, the receiving base 2 ascends by elasticity of a spring member 4, and the punch 1 enters the receiving base again. Subsequently, the panel P is moved to the following press point, pressing is executed in the same way, and a desired pattern is formed by collection of the press point.
