PURPOSE: To remarkably shorten the working time by molding the inside surface of a metallic tube to a prescribed shape by inserting a mandrel, inserting the metallic tube into a prepared hole of a metallic plate after drawing out the mandrel, executing seal welding to both its ends, and thereafter, heating and pressurizing it.
CONSTITUTION: A mandrel 22 of a prescribed cross section shape is inserted into a metallic tube 3a, the outside surface is pressurized by an ironing roll 21 and the inside surface is moled to the same shape as the cross section shape of the mandrell 22. Subsequently, after drawing out the mandrel 22 from the metallic tube 3a, a metallic tube (star high tensile Al alloy vapor tube) 3 is inserted into a prepared hole 2 of a metallic plate (high tensile Al alloy plate) 1 pierced in advance, both ends of a clearance between the metallic tube 3 and the metallic plate 1 is subjected to seal welding, and thereafter, it is heated and pressurized, and subjected to diffusion joining. In such a way, molding can be executed with high accuracy and in a short time.
