Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacturing a highly durable microwave absorbing heating vessel which mainly consisting of the structure in which silicon carbide is integrally charged and composed to the tissue of a ceramic material as an inclined function tissue.

CONSTITUTION: A material obtained by molding ceramic raw material into a determined vessel form followed by unglazing is set in a reaction system, and heated within the temperature range of 900-1100°C, and trichloromethylsilane is supplied into the system while being accompanied by hydrogen gas. After holding for a fixed time, an evacuating pulse CVI is continued to charge silicon carbide into the material tissue. Then, the surface is glazed.
