PURPOSE: To form a coating layer, having no poor appearance such as unevenness of luster or the like, on the molded product having insert by forming the coating layer, employing resin powder, on the outer periphery of the insert integrally.
CONSTITUTION: A mold, consisting of an upper force 11 and a bottom force 12, is opened and heated, then, the resin powder, which forms a skin layer 8 later, is loaded into both forming grooves 11a, 12a to adhere the resin powder so as to have a given thickness. On the other hand, an adhesive agent layer 6 is formed on the outer periphery of a core metal 5 at an annular section, which serves as the insert, and the resin powder, mixed with chemical foaming agent, is adhered to the outer periphery thereof with a given thickness. The core metal 5 for the annular section is loaded into the mold and the mold is clamped and heated. Then, the resin powder is melted in the mold and is adhered to the forming grooves 11a, 12a, which are formed with embossing, stitch pattern or the like. The resin powder, mixed with chemical foaming agent, is also melted and an expanded layer 7 is formed. When the mold is cooled and opened, the molded product, formed with the skin layer 8, on which the pattern are transferred on the surface thereof, and the expanded layer 7, formed integrally on the rear side of the skin layer 8, may be obtained.
