PURPOSE: To manufacture an Mo sheet having coarsened grains at a relatively low temp. in an industrial production level by subjecting an Mo sintered body to directional rolling under prescribed conditions, thereafter annealing it, then subjecting it to directional cold rolling and furthermore executing heating treatment under specified conditions.
CONSTITUTION: Metallic Mo powder is subjecting to compacting and sintering according to the conventional method into an ingot, and this ingot is subjected to one-directional rolling at 900 to 1200°C at ≥80% working rate, is then subjected to stress recovering annealing at 800 to 900°C and is furthermore subjected to one-directional cold rolling at 5 to 50% working rate. This rolled stock is successively subjected to heating treatment at ≥1750°C for ≥3hr.
