Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily vary the number of branches and the number of constituent fibers at the time of change in product kind by driving a guide moving optical fibers in accordance with the rotation of a drum by a linear pulse motor. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber which is wound around the take-up drum while or after being spinned is moved in parallel to a fixed guide 3 and the rotary shaft of the take-up drum 9 while unwound, and then wound around the take-up drum 9 through a moving guide 4 which periodically move to >=2 positioning positions corresponding to the rotation of the take-up drum 9. A detector 12 detects the rotational position of the take-up drum 9 and sends an electric signal to a controller 8, which sends an electric signal based upon the signal to the linear pulse monitor 7 according to conditions of the number of branches, branch positions, the moving speed and stop position of the moving guide 4, etc., previously programmed in the controller, thereby moving the moving guide 4. In this case, the linear motor 7 can stops at an optional position with + or -0.2mm stop position precision.
