Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multi-purpose band having extendability and contractibility to be manufactured out of a rubber core-containing braid used for a decoration of hair of head or decorative article to be attached to a fastener to an article or arm, and a method for manufacturing it.
SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a multi-purpose practical band obtained by forming a rubber core-containing fraid in a ring state comprises the steps of forming recesses 3, 4 by a drill at a center of rubber cores 1, 2 of both ends, and adhering the cores 1, 2 with an adhesive 5 and charging the adhesive 5 in recesses 3, 4. Thus, flexibility is incorporated in a connecting part so that a seam is not apparent. The method may comprise the steps for inserting a bond reinforcing small piece made of rubber into one recess, and adhering with the adhesive in the case of inserting the recess of the other end to the recess of one end.
