Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable continuous winding operation, by forwarding a tape supply section in a coiling forward direction of a coil conductor and properly repeating inversion in the axial direction to form an insulating layer of a predetermined insulation thickness on the inner side of the coil conductor.
SOLUTION: A conductor supply section is reciprocated between one end a and the other end b in the axial direction synchronously with rotation of a coil former 1, thus continuously coiling a coil conductor 2 on an outer peripheral portion of the coil former 1 by each layer sequentially from the inner layer. At the same time as coiling of the n-th layer of the coil conductor 2, a tape supply section is moved in a movement pattern for forwarding in a coiling forward direction of the coil conductor 2 and properly repeating inversion in the axial direction, while the winding start position is made the same as the coil conductor 2. Then, a tape-like insulating material 4 is wound on the inner side of the n-th layer of the coil conductor 2, thus forming an insulating layer 3 having a predetermined thickness.
