Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the trouble due to a spacer by a method wherein a prepreg, which is drawn out of a roll and both sides of which are pressingly pinched between release papers, is longitudinally cut to desired widths and, after that, picked up while peeling off the release papers from both the sides. CONSTITUTION:A fabric prepreg 20, which contains glass fiber woven fabric as reinforcing fabric, is introduced between two sheets of release papers 22 and 23 and pressed on a table 12 with press rolls 11 and 11' so as to be integrally and bondingly sandwiched between the release papers 22 and 23. Next, the resultant sandwiched laminate is cut to the predetermined widths with a cutter 4 and, after that, the release papers 22 and 23, which have been laminated, are peeled off and removed by being wound up with wind-ups 6 of the release papers provided above and below the laminate. At the same time, a narrow fabric prepreg can be singly and uniformly picked up to cardboard cores, which are mounted to take-up rolls 5. Thus, the taking-up of the fabric prepregs to the cardboard core, the outer diameter of which is about 80mm or less, with no generation of wrinkles is possible, making the automatic laminated molding compact.
