PURPOSE: To eliminate the need of putting buffer materials in a packing case and bestow a decorative value to buffer protrusions by a method wherein buffer protrusions for protecting goods to be packed are formed in such a manner that a pattern is drawn on the inner face with foaming ink, UV printing takes place over it, then heating is done to foam the foaming ink pattern and form the protrusions, and ultraviolet rays are radiated over the pattern to form a top layer.
CONSTITUTION: With a packing case 1 laid flat before assembled, a pattern is partially drawn on the inner face by printing, etc. With foaming ink, and UV printing takes place over it. After that, heating is carried out by radiating far infrared rays to foam the foaming ink pattern and form protrusions 4a. Then, ultraviolet rays are radiated to set the upper layer of UV printing and form top layers 5a. Thus, buffer protrusions 3 for protecting goods to be packed are formed.
