Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture a pad material effectively utilizing a resource without generating a fragment by cutting a bar-like fiber molding molded by a die having the preset cross section shape to the preset thickness.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture including thermo-fusible fibers and thermo-nonfusible fibers is filled in a cylindrical or container-like die 1 having the preset cross section shape (square, circular, or heart-shaped), the mixture filled in the die 1 is heated in a heating tank 2, it is then cooled in a cooling tank 3, a bar-like fiber molding 5 molded into the preset shape is extracted from the die 1, and the bar-like fiber molding 5 is cut with a cutting machine 4 to the preset thickness to manufacture a pad material 6.
