Abstract:

PURPOSE: To manufacture a pad for spectacles wherein favorable molding can be carried out and an adhesive property between the pad body and a silicone rubber is excellent.

CONSTITUTION: When a pad for spectacles wherein a silicone rubber 2 is integrated with a synthetic resin made pad body 1 is formed of polycarbonate resin or a composition containing resin. Then, a self adhesive silicone rubber is integrated with the pad body by injection molding a liquid additive self-adhesive silicone rubber composition which contains an alkenyl group-containing organopolysiloxane, an organohydrogenpolysiloxane containing at least two hydrogen atoms directly bonded to a silicone atom in one molecule, a catalyst for an addition reaction, and an adhesion-additive component onto the pad body.
