Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the formation of bubbles when a phosphor slurry is prepared to thereby produce a good fluorescent screen by using a dispersing medium consisting mainly of water and containing a specified amount of ethyl alcohol for preparation of a phosphor slurry which is applied to glass to produce a fluorescent screen.
CONSTITUTION: A dispersing medium consisting mainly of water and containing ethyl alcohol in an amount of 5-30vol.% based on the volume of the dispersing medium is used for preparation of a phosphor slurry which is applied to glass to produce a fluorescent screen.
