Title:
MANUFACTURE OF PHOTOSENSITIVE BODY BELT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04237525
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To manufacture a seamless photosensitive body belt having a flat surface in a short working time by cutting both ends of a cold worked cylindrical member and making it a base material for the photosensitive body belt.

CONSTITUTION: For example, Al (alloy), Cu (alloy), etc., are used as metallic material 31. Progressive drawing is made by the general deep drawing to obtain a cylindrical member 32 such as a flanged can and both its ends are cut to obtain an endless belt. This is worked, further, as a base material to obtain a photosensitive belt 30. The peripheral part of the cylindrical member 32 is made 20-80μm in thickness. Moreover, one piece per 2-3sec can be manufactured by this process, for example the working time is exceedingly shorter compared with 30min/piece in electrocasting. Since elastic force is increased and wear resistance is improved by work-hardening based on working stress, the surface is hard to be flamed and dimensional stability is favorable.
