PURPOSE: To cut down the manufacturing processes for enhancing the mass- productivity by a method wherein a coil-magnetic body compounded thin band is formed by laminating conductive coils on a high permeability magnetic alloy thin band through the intermediary of an insulating layer and then the compound thin film is cut off into a specific length so as to constitute the essential parts of the title plane inductor.
CONSTITUTION: SiO2 films are formed on a Co base amorphous magnetic alloy thin band 1 and then the patterns of multiple spiral type conductor coils 2 are formed by screen printing process on one side of the thin band 1. Next, the SiO2 films are formed on the parts wherefrom the terminal lands 3, 4 of the coils 2 are removed to manufacture a coil-magnetic body compounded thin band 1. Next, a part including two each of spiral coils is cut out of the thin bands 1 using the compound thin band 1 so that the spiral coil part and the magnetic body foil part may be bent and folded at the central part (broken line part) respectively taking inner and outer sides and then both terminal lands 3a, 3b are junctioned using solder, etc., to manufacture the title plane inductor using 4a, 4b as terminals.
