PURPOSE: To provide the manufacture of a plate plier in which a holding recessed and projected part is formed inside a tip end by blanking without milling, also a plate plier is punched out for which pivotary supporting holes are formed by this blanking, a work efficiency is greatly improved and which is excellent in mass productivity.

CONSTITUTION: A replacing member 4 is fitted freely attachably and detachably to the prescribed place of a lower die 3 for punching; a recessed and projected edge part 5 is formed in the position where the inner edge 3' of the lower die for punching of the replacing member 4 is formed; a base stock plate 1 is loaded on this lower die 3 for punching; a punching is performed by lowering the upper die 6 for punching; the plate plier 2 is punched out, for which the holding recessed and projected part 7 is formed inside the tip end by means of the recessed and projected edge part 5 without performing cutting (milling); and many plate cutting pliers 2 are manufactured by successively feeding the base stock plate 1 and repeating this process.
