Title:
MANUFACTURE OF POLYGON MIRROR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62254113
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate manufacture by forming parts which become the magnetic poles of a motor for rotating a mirror and a shaft insertion part at a time in the injection molding process of a plastic magnet member by using a metallic discoid blank material.

CONSTITUTION: A ring-shaped yoke part 38 is inserted into the bottom part of a recessed part 101 and a part 103 is aligned with a small hole bored therein; and a plastic magnet member with which magnetic powder is mixed is charged in the recessed part 101, a shallow recessed part 102, and the small hole 103 by an injection molding method. The plastic magnet member, however, is not charged in a through hole 104 where bearings 36 and 36 are inserted. In this process, a yoke part 38 is fixed to a rotor part without using a screw nor an adhesive. The whole side faces are cut at a high speed to form eight mirror surfaces 105 based on a reference worked top surface and two bearings are fitted to the part 104 to form the rotor part.
