PURPOSE: To enahle efficiently molding of a polyurethane foam which is comparatively thick and in a squarelike state and contains a glass fiber, by foaming a polyurethane resin stock solution up to a predetermined height after spreading of the of the polyurethane resin stock solution over a bulky aggregate of glass fiber bundles formed on a bottom sheet and covering of the same with a top sheet.
CONSTITUTION: An aggregate 41 of glass fiber bundles is laid over a bottom sheet 21 supplied on a conveyor line. A top sheet 25 such as a polyethylene sheet is covered over the top of the aggregate 41 of the glass fiber boundles into which a resin solution has been poured prior to foaming of a urethane stock solution by spreading a polyurethane stock solution 31 over the aggregate 41 of the glass fiber boundles whose thickness is about the same as that of a polyurethane foamed produce which is going to be obtained. A matter making a polyurethane foaming stock solution into a high molecular weight and foaming reaction of the same progress while the same is filling out a space of the aggregate of the glass fiber bundles and the same is being controlled by a foamed height of the top. Then the above is molded into a squarelike foamed product of a predetermined thickness, in which a glass fiber 40 is dispersed into the whole of a polyurethane foam and uniformly.
