Abstract:
PURPOSE: To execute the mass production of a porous sheet for an underdrain with a high yield rate, by punching various kinds of holes so as to become symmetrical with respect to the center line of an original cloth sheet and cutting the sheet along the center line.
CONSTITUTION: An original cloth sheet A with the double width of the proper width of a piece of a porous sheet (a) for an underdrain is fed to a press device 17. Various kinds of holes are then punched by this press device 17 so as to become symmetrical with respect to the center line of the original cloth sheet A and the sheet is cut along the center line to obtain the porous sheet (a) of the proper width.
