Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method of manufacturing positive temperature coefficient thermistors such as constant-temperature heating unit which has high productivity and is capable of realizing heat generation with stable heat transmission by maximizing the contact area.

CONSTITUTION: A single or plurality of grooves 2 parallel to at least either one of the two main surfaces of a rectangular plate shape thermistor on which a plurality of electrodes 7 are set is provided, the thermistor is cut along the grooves by a pressure applied when a heating unit 3 is secured with a bonding agent 4, and the heating unit is secured to both main surfaces of the positive temperature coefficient thermistor 1 by maximizing a contact area.
