PURPOSE: To achieve the reduction in the times of correction and the simplification of working process and make the rack of good mounting accuracy which are as long as possible within the range of crane capacity by connecting by welding two rack blanks by means of a connecting material then fusion-cutting the same.
CONSTITUTION: A rack mounting material 3 is fusion-welded to the bottom outer side of rack blanks 41, 42 and a connecting material 7 of the width twice that of the rack mounting material 3 is fusion-welded to the bottom inner side of the one rack blank 24. This connecting material 7 is welded to the bottom inner side of the other rack blank 41. A rack mounting material 3 is fusion-welded to the top outer side of the blanks 41, 42 and a connecting member 7 is welded to the top inner side between the blanks 41, 42. The central part of the blanks 41, 42 is fusion-cut along the tooth-form line C to part these to the central connected rack 43 and the racks 44c, 44d on the outer side. The tooth-form part of the central connected rack 43 is finish-fusion-cut to cut its connecting material 7 at the central part. This central connected rack 43' is turned over by a crane and the other side piece of the connecting material 7 is cut to form the inner racks 44a, 44b attached with the mounting member 3. The deformation of the racks 44aW44b are corrected straightforward.
