PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a reflecting mirror suitable for obtaining a desired light distribution patter.
SOLUTION: A light distribution characteristic regulated by the corresponding relationship between the position of a reflecting point on a reference plane in a reflecting surface and the position of an image of a light source 1 is regulated. A pass line is decided in the reference plane on the basis of this light distribution characteristic. A profile curve corresponding to a shape of the reflecting surface to be determined by passing through respective extraction points is decided on the basis of the light distribution characteristic on the respective plural extraction points discretely distributed on the pass line. The image of the light source 1 moves in the direction for crossing the reference plane on the basis of the light distribution characteristic as the reflecting point moves on the profile curve. The shape of the reflecting surface to be determined is decided on the basis of the profile curve decided with every extraction point.
