Title:
MANUFACTURE OF REMELTING CHILL CAM SHAFT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6237565
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform a remelting process simultaneously, by selecting a melting current flowing into two tungsten torches alternately to two cams. CONSTITUTION:A mechanical device body 11 holds a cam shaft 12 or a work material at the specified position, while it is provided with a work rotating part 13 rotating it and an oscillating part 14 rocking this work rotating part 13. A driving mechanism holds both first and second tungsten torches 22 and 23. To feed these torches with a tungsten inert gas arc current is carried out with a current waveform as in illustration. That is to say, when a melting current I is made to flow into the first torch 22 and the TIG arc is produced, the current is made so as not to flow into the second torch 23, and after the elapse of a period (t), reversely the melting current is made so as to flow into the second torch 23. Thus, such a magnetic blow that exerts influence on each other is in no case produced there.
