Abstract:
PURPOSE: To fix more firmly the dust of a granular mixture which adheres to a green body obtained by molding magnet powder and epoxy resin to prevent their dispersion during motor driving, to reduce the abnormal noise and to enhance the corrosion resistance of a resin magnet.
CONSTITUTION: A protective film is formed on the surface of a resin magnet made of epoxy resin and quenched magnet powder of rare earth-iron alloy by means of a water base emulsion type film formation agent. This manufacturing method makes it possible firmly to fix the dust of a granular mixture which adheres to the surface of the resin magnet and prevent the dust from being dispersed during motor driving. What is more, it is possible to enhance the corrosion resistance of the rare earth resin magnet.
