PURPOSE: To cut down manhours required for manufacture as well as to reduce power consumption by a method wherein the drying of the coil, for which winding has been finished, the prepreg to be wound around the inner and outer circumference of the coil and the hardening by heat of the puttylike resin applied on one end face of the coil are performed at the same time.
CONSTITUTION: Before the wound-up coil 2 is dried up, it is stood in vertical position together with a core 6, and puttylike resin 4' is applied to one end face of the coil 2. Then, the above is put in a hardening furnace, and the drying of the coil, prepreg 3 and the hardening by heat of the puttylike resin 4 are performed simultaneously. Subsequently, said spool 6 is pulled out, puttylike resin 4' is applied on the other end face of the coil by inverting the coil 2 upside down, put in the hardening furnace and the puttylike resin 4 is hardened by heat, and a resin molded coil 1 is obtained. As a result, both manhours of manufacture and power consumption can be reduced, because one process for hardening by heat of the puttylike resin is omitted.
