PURPOSE: To provide a rotary type latent heat exchanger having uniform hole diameters by forming a disk-shaped pipe collected body wherein pipe materials having a predetermined length are densely bundled and bonding granular absorbent materials to at least the inner surfaces of the holes.

CONSTITUTION: A long-sized pipe material having hexagonal section is cut to predetermined length to form a pipe material 2a. Next, a large number of the pipe materials 2a are arranged parallelly and a band 3 is wrapped around the materials and the band 3 is gradually tightened while vibration is being imparted to the whole materials, following which the opposite ends of each of the materials 2a are heated and welded to combine the materials 2a with each other. Next, adhesives are adhered to the inner and outer surfaces of a disk-shaped collected body 4, and before the adhesives are cured, granular absorbent materials are sprayed onto each end surface of the body 4 to bond the adhesives to the inner and outer surfaces of the body 4.
