Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce thermal input to a base material and to prevent a welding joint from decreasing in the strength by integrating by an electron beam welding at least either one of inner and outer layer reinforcing rings and a torque tube made of high strength nonmagnetic steel. CONSTITUTION:A rotor has a superconductive rotor coil 2 in a coil slot 1 of outer peripheral side, and has a rotor inner cylinder 4 capable of supplying cooling medium 3 for cooling the coil 2 to the interior and a rotor outer cylinder 5 disposed at the outer peripheral side of the cylinder 4. At least one of inner and outer layer reinforcing rings 5b, 5c and a torque tube 8 is divided into a plurality, and the divided parts or the cylinder 4 to be bonded with the tube 8 are integrated by an electron beam welding therebetween.
