In this manufacture of the rubber contact 1 constituted by fixing a metal contact piece 3 on a contact opposing surface of a rubber contact body 2, a part of the contact piece 3 is bent and a convex piece 8 if formed to the contact piece 3 in advance, then the rubber contact body 3, in conjunction with the contact piece 3, is insert-molded out of insulating rubber to integrate the rubber contact body 2 with the contact piece 3, this the rubber contact 1 is molded with the convex piece 8 of the contact piece 3 embedded into the rubber contact body 2.
